This is a family-friendly event. Why not join us for our fantastic children’s colour dash before heading out on the 10K? It’s an ideal way to warm up!
Or if you prefer, assist with the liberal application of coloured powder to our smaller runners as they navigate the mini course.
The village hall team will be selling a delicious selection of cakes and treats alongside tea and coffee. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy some April sunshine.

Froyle Children’s Colour Dash
Get ready to get messy! Join us for a joy-filled event, and the best excuse to get legitimately messy.
Perfect for kids of all ages. Choose whether to run, skip, stroll or dance two loops of the recreation ground and enjoy finishing covered head to toe in crazy colour. Expect music, laughter and plenty of paint stations along the way, no time pressure, just have fun.
Parents are welcome to join in or cheer from the sidelines – either way, prepare for the brightest run you’ve ever seen! We’ll provide some cool eye protection, and all our finishers get a wickedly colourful medal as a keepsake.
We recommend using some old clothing – we recommend an old white t-shirt and shorts.
You’ll need to fill out an online waiver for every child entered before they run.

The Froyle 10K Trail Race
A village-based trail run on open public footpaths.
Starting and finishing in the heart of Froyle village, just outside Alton, the course follows scenic public footpaths through rolling Hampshire countryside.
Flowing with the natural landscape, this route has been designed for all abilities. Race it, or run with friends and enjoy views of the South Downs. Expect undulating terrain, great views, and short sections of singletrack that are not overly technical underfoot.
Blended Trails is thrilled to collaborate with Froyle Village Hall on this event. Creating community through running and supporting local events is at the heart of what we do.
Froyle residents will be marshalling on the course, and the village hall will serve as the base, selling homemade treats and hot drinks. In addition, you can expect a well-defined course and support from the Blended Trails team. There is no time limit on this event, and as always, our friendly tail runners will be supporting from the back.
This is a family-friendly event, and we’re excited to kick off the trail race with a kids’ Colour Dash featuring a short lap or two around the recreation ground. Kids (and young-at-heart adults) can walk, jog, or dance the course whilst enjoying clouds of colour and the freedom to get legitimately messy!
What’s included?
- An exciting, well-marked 10k trail route
- A unique medal
- On-course support from friendly marshals
- Medic services on site
- Toilets
- Water station halfway and at the finish.
- Free race photos
Volunteering
A great way to be involved.
If you enjoy the buzz of race day and the social aspect of being part of an event then volunteering is a great way to be involved.
Without volunteers we would not be able to organise events, the support that we have is fantastic and is a big part of the runners’ experience of the day.
